Resolutions? I shall seek
To keep them all at least a week.
And if I fail? Well, then I'll say
I did my best at least a day.
So, not to worry, fret or fear,
Perhaps I'll have another year
For redefining who I'll be.
With Auld Lang Syne-ing, we shall see.
But, then again, I don't know why
We can't resolve things in July.
To me, mid-year would be just dandy.
By then, I'm out of Christmas candy.
